Great Movies

I need to mark up that these two days I had watched movie in Sunway Pyramid TGV continuously.

I watched "A Christmas Carol" yesterday and "Astroboy" today. Both of them are really great movies!! I love them :).

"A Christmas Carol" is a great story. It shows how past can make us to be what we are now, and how present moment influences the future moment. Despite of my fear for the appearance of the ghosts, I really enjoyed the show. I even teared out as I was touched by Mr. Ebenezer's changing behaviors after the memorable night. Lastly, I really felt the spirit of Christmas throughout the show, it was warm and joyful.

"Astroboy" is another great show. In fact, I did not expect it would be a great movie because I do not like robotic movie, yet it is a wonderful movie. I cried a lot during the show haha!! The story shows that the love of father to his only son is as great as the ocean! I love the characters of Dr. Tenma, Dr. Elefun, and the Astroboy. At the end, I would like to say that we should appreciate every things that we have before it is too late.

2012

I watched the movie yesterday night. Despite the uncomfortable situation due to the coldness, I really enjoyed the movie. For me, 2012 is a great movie with bunches of life lessons.. though I don't really like the ending part.

Again? Life lessons in a movie??

Yippiieee.. That's what I felt :).

1. I cannot predict the future, so it does not matter that the ending part is not something I expected.

2. If the end of Earth does come, how many creatures we can save?? Do you think the ship is enough for all of them?

3. In the emergency situation like the movie described, why do some human beings still thinking of money? Can life be bought by money???

4. In fact, no one knows exactly when the mother Earth will collapse and destroy everything inside.. so, when we are still given chance to live, why don't we use it wisely?
Forgive people that had made mistake to you.
Give love as much as you can like today is your last day.
Smile!!
Consume and do every things wisely, not too much yet not too little (Remember the saying that resources are, indeed, enough to feed all human beings on Earth??)

5. The love of parents to their children is abundance, it cannot be described by words! They are ready to give their lives for the sake of the children.

6. The last one, Why does a movie about the end of the Earth can be so popular?? hahaha!! I think, perhaps, people want to know what will happen if Earth does come to an end. However, don't we realize that every thing has its start and its end?

If you haven't watch it, do watch 2012! Enjoy the movie and do something worth it before it is too late :)

Lesson of the day

My mind worked so hard today.
It told me that someone does not like me, and perhaps she blamed me for something.
I tried my very best not to be influenced by the mind,
because there was no real evidence to judge it..

As I remembered, the Buddha ever said that every one is blamed in this world. However, we cannot change others not to blame us, we only can change ourself to see the blame as it is.

~ Blame is only a blame. It is only words without any meaning when you see it as it is ~

Anyways, I felt sad today because I could not remember my student's name (what a bad teacher I am) hahaha!! Perhaps because of too many days I did not come to the home.. Plus I felt the jealousy raised in my heart when the home's aunty cared for others more than for me (woOppSsss!! "me" should not be used here.. Life will be easier and happier if there is no "me, I, mine, and my")

Huahahaha!! I really enjoy the experiences I got today :). I learned to read my mind from both sides, negativity and positivity. Although (honestly) I was still influenced by the mind, I am glad that I could see the mind before another mindless actions were done.

Human

What do you think the meaning of the word "human"?

It is a basic question, yet only little of us truly understand the meaning of "human".

HUMAN is something with physical body and mind.

What is physical body?
It is the skin, flesh, blood, organs, and everything that you can see it as a thing and probably you can touch it as well. It will be old one day and dies.

What is mind?
It is place where you have the feeling, perception, and thinking. It is a place where you can feel happiness, sadness, sorrow, wonderful, meaningful, and all of the stuffs that are able to influence your physical body and appearance.

Without physical body, mind is NOT a human being. The same goes to the mind, without physical body, mind is NOT a human being.

So, are you a human being?
If the answer is yes, then it is very okay to feel sadness, sorrow, happiness, wonderful, and joyful.
If the answer is yes, then it is very okay to treat your physical body well and realize that one day you will die.

However, do not waste the time when we as a HUMAN being still can breath. Sharp your mind to be in this present moment! Do not affected by outside factors because they are, in fact, only illusions.

May all beings be well and happy always :)

Feeling

Do you know the feeling when your best friend suddenly said that you are a different person now?
Do you know the feeling when your best friend has no longer have any faith to you?
Do you know the feeling when your best friend said that you are not needed anymore?
Do you know the feeling when your heart is broken by your best friend and you cried it out a lot, yet it cannot fix the heart?

I know.
I experienced it.
I could not say anything to make the best friend of mine to trust me again.
I could not say anything to make the best friend of mine to feel that i am a best friend.
For sure, this best friend of mine is always in my heart.

I am having a lot of pressures from another side of mine right now.
I am not uncared or leaving you out.
Just be there for me is enough.
I don't ask for anything more than that.

Thanks for your wish for my problems.
I wish I can pass them well too.

Be Contented!

Pikirkan tentang pengangguran, orang-orang cacat yang berharap mereka mempunyai pekerjaan seperti anda...

 Life is a gift

 Live it...

 Enjoy it...

 Celebrate it...

 And fulfill it!

P.S. These words are always able to make me to live each day without complaining too much and accept things as they really are.

Death

Have you read my older post about death? Click here

Again, I am reminded that DEATH is really CERTAIN while LIFE is UNCERTAIN!
I had just finished reading Dr. Kah Yein's blog about his dog, Mac. Mac was part of her big family which had accompanied her for 13 years.

It is such a sad story, for me, because I followed Mac's life story since he had diagnosed to have ruptured cornea and complicated diseases as Mac was an old dog. I was too shock when I found that Mac had passed away this morning. It is so sudden, for sure! Without anyone's expectation that today is the last day for Mac.

This makes me to ask myself, "Have I done so much beautiful and meaningful things for those people around me? Are they happy?". Those questions, in fact, are aimed in conjunction with my grandmom's condition. Her condition is the same as Mac, being eaten by age. Honestly, I am really afraid that one day my mom or whoever people in my home will call and tell me about "death". Although I know the fact of death, yet it is so hard for me to accept it.

I am afraid of the word "death". I am afraid of knowing that one day my beloved ones will be taken from me so sudden, without any notification and I am unprepared.

What should I do to be prepared???
I can't think of any answers for this question, because many days/hours/years of preparation time seems to be never enough for me. I am afraid.

I am asking myself, "How about me? Am I afraid of death?". The voice deep inside my mind is telling me that I am not afraid of death, only afraid of what experience I might have when I am facing it. And if I can choose, I prefer to die before the beloved ones die rather than I am left by them (wahhh... it is evidence that I am still having a shallow "letting go" practice! :p)

~"Death" is really a wonderful word ~

Advice of the day:
Because life is so short,
don't waste your life to do something useless (for yourself and others).
Be a fragrant flower to those around you,
Live this life to the fullest beautifully and meaningfully.

Sunflower

Friends,
from the bottom of my heart,
I would like to say many many THANKS.

Because of your influences,
I made this blog and wrote down my journeys.
Because of this blog,
I learned how to write stories well,
and
eventually I could write words to describe my understanding of things
inside my exam papers.

I have one more paper to be done on the day after tomorrow and I know some of my friends haven't finish their papers yet.. so, all the best for all of us!!! Good Luck and Do Our Best when we can do it!

P.S. Don't be influenced by previous papers. We had done our best, cheers on them!! Keep Moving Forward, dear, because life must go on :) :) :)

Dinner Time

Today's dinner time was something I had waited for since I woke up from my nap at 4.30 P.M. I don't know why suddenly I craved for food. Is it because of studying in which my brain needs a lot of energy supply??

Anyways, to cut the long story short...

I bought my dinner at Garuda restaurant, downstair.
The food I took was nice, I think ;p.
I had spinach, tempe + potato, eggplant, and rice.
I ate my dinner at my room, and this thing happened..................

I ate like I was someone who never met food before.
I ate so fast, really really super fast I tell you....
until suddenly I asked myself, "What am I doing? Eating or Putting things inside my body?"
Luckily, the question came out at the point where my food was still in its half portion.

I was deeply praised myself shocked that I could eat at very very high speed!

P.S. Today's dinner time has made realize that I am still driven by my desire of sensual pleasure things. Acting without knowing what am I doing. Thanks dinner time, you remind me to be mindful :)

Quote of the day

You are your own teacher. Looking for teachers can’t solve your own doubts. Investigate yourself to find the truth - inside, not outside. Knowing yourself is most important.”

(Ajahn Chah)

Am I STUPID or TOO KIND or BOTH of THEM???

Maybe for some people, they have bored to listen or read this post.

Here I just would like to share what I had been thought for half of this day...

I wonder why are people without any feeling of ashamed exist?? These people still keep asking for something which I hardly gave it to them since the very first time... did not my expression show my unwillingness when you asked for it at this third times? should I say it loudly to make you understand??

NO, I DON'T WANT TO LEND YOU!! PLEASE USE YOUR EFFORT!!!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!

I am tired, people.. tired!!

Every time, you ask for it, I had shown my unwillingness to give it to you, yet you are still there and wait. I had helped you once, why did you come again and without any feeling, you still came to me and asked for it??

Now, it is arising in my mind... "am I a STUPID-KIND girl? I give milk to people and they ask more without thinking of my feeling and effort to get it."

am I selfish???
am I really that stupid???

Leave me if you can't bear with my truly self.. Leave me if you only want to use me!! I had enough to be your kind friend.

Believe me NOT //

Again the feeling and perception have came to me.
Nothing much I could say toward it.
Only time will reveal the truth.
Though I am so hard, yet at the same time, so fragile to be destroyed,
I won't for the many times, fall into the same hole.

Not being desperate,
I am only on my way to raise this life meaningfully and happily,
without any false feeling and perception [dot]

Umbrella

Thanks pink umbrella for protecting me from the rain this afternoon.

Thanks too for making me able to protect a "kakak" from the rain (:

Besides, thanks for the long waiting time of free shuttle bus under the rain, my heart was warm as I could know that my brother is the best brother (:

Bas Sekolah

This morning, our bus to temple came so late... That time what I had in my mind was not angriness to the bus driver, but uncomfortable feeling toward the others.

As I examined deeper, I know that the uncomfortable feeling arose because I was afraid of others' bad opinion to 'TaraBuddY or maybe in particular to me.. I deeply said SORRY and THANK YOU for those people who still patiently waited for the bus and accompanied me there.

Now, what does this teach me?

This world is full of unexpected things and we must not being affected by this. Just like the case above, all of us expected that we would go to temple and joined Puja, but we stuck in front of Lagoon View, waiting for the bus. Thus, if unexpected things occur in life; don't be sad over it, remain in calmness. If expected things occur in life; don't be too overjoyed, still remain in calmness. It is because all things are impermanence. Good or bad things will pass, for sure.

Like what Buddha said, "What people expect to happen is always different from what actually happens. From this comes great disappointment; this is the way the world works." (Sutta Nipata).
